I am using dark flasher 2.14d. I can read/backup the phone. But when I tried to flash my phone, it failed right after erasing.

Are the all f_loaders provided in df214d good for writing?

Try flash phone with Rolis SW...Or choose right loader. WBR. Peter

What phone model is it? Plz, try another F_Loader....

Hi,

The problem is with your PC you cannot use Dejan read functio is also incorect, tray to open backup in som hex editor and you will se.

Solution for problem is to use Winflaser or rolis.

I am already using rolis's nokia477 but I would like to try something else too. df 2.14c and earlier didn't work on my Pentium 120! and somehow this 2.14d works. I tried it with my 5190 and from reading the phone, it gave me a flash id and I chose the f_loader accordingly. My PC *CAN* read the phone properly. I know what you want to say. It produced the same file when I read it using rolis's one not FFs. I just want to know if you need to mod the f_loaders? or if the flash id shown while reading is incorrect (which don't think it's incorrect).

I have the same problem with dark 2.14d with 3310 5.03 handset. read is ok...write I get CMD error during "ersasing flash". I've tried all f_loaders. I've checked using jethro and comparing the flash id with dark's list and it correct...but it won't write...

rolis and winflasher...both ok.

I've tested it on 4 system. mobilePIII800 asus PIII450 w/ intel board Althon 1GHZ w/ asus board PIII600 desktop

I had same problem,but when i use right f_loader and Dejan 1.02 interface(sw.1.05) ewerything run OK.Now is phone OK.Good Luck <img src="cool.gif" border="0">

This problem appears often... I think it is because Dark's provided f_loaders are patched,for reading purposes. If you want to write to the phone,you need normal (not patched) f_loaders,those that are used in Rolis'flasher. <img src="wink.gif" border="0"> That's why Rolis works fine. Try normal f_loader,not from Dark's shell and you will see.... <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0"> Still, Dark shell is the best shell ever! <img src="wink.gif" border="0"> <img src="wink.gif" border="0">
