What is this code and in which nokia phones does it work???

I dont know what it is for but i would guess that if it does anything it resets the security code to 12345 (Only in older models i suspect). I have tried it on 3 x 3410`s, 1 x 3330, 1 x 3310 and 1 x 3210 and it has not done anything. Maybe thats what it does. Who knows.

I have heard of similar codes that like the DCT4 Unlock codes perform functions (like software reset) in the earlier model phones but i have never seen or used one so they may not exist.

I assumed it may have been one of those. At least you know that it doesnt do anything in on the 3310, 3330 and 3410 now.

all i know about this code is that it is used to bring out a special menu

nam1 and nam2 i guess.........
in this menu u can edit a lot of prefrences.
what i want form u guys is to test this code in all the nokia phones you get./.... it would help us to know that this code works in which of the phones.

i heard that it works in old phones like 2110 and so on. but stilll i want to get conformed.

Please confirm me that this code works on which of these phones........

5110,5120,5170,5160,6120,6160,6170,6185,5150,6190, 2160....
i guess all except 5110 and 6110.

there is well known code for amps/damps/cdma nokia phones.
there is nothing new.

to reset the secutiry code on DCT-3 is simple *3370# and also it must have the sim card in it and not asking for the security code. Just to reset it if you forget it.

AMPS system is being used in Pakistan ,US and few other countries.
AMPS phones operate witout the simcards and are programmed by dealers when sold.
The above mentioned codes are for all nokia phones,if u enter the code phone will be entered into dealer mode and you can enter Phone number which is issued to customer.
Paktel and Instaphone companies in Pakistan use same codes to reprogram nokia phones,I have worked in Pakistan with Paktel(Cellular Network provider) and used same codes.
