Angry com port question...


does anyone know why my mbus does not work with nk_calc progy? I can read data with no problem with nokia tool and on some other pc it works fine. I'm using win 98 SE, pentium II 400.

Nk_calc needs a pure mbus cable. check your cable.

thanx 4 replay...

I found a solution for it. I'm doing it with nokia tool 1.7 by rolis with slight of changed of program settings. meaning "powered from rts line (db9 pin 7). This how can I now do this sort of operations, but does anyone know how to fix this on my computer instead of in software.

not computer problem it is cable compatability problem.
try using Nokia tool by jordik. this is ok with your cable.

as I said I already manage to use my cable with nokia tool 1.7 by Rolis, but I'm interested in changing com propertis to work also with nk_calc program. Anyhow I'm doing it fine with this nokia tool. Thanx guys for your replays, you helped me a lot.
