Post CS problems with dejan flasher

i have this 5110, v5.11, don't remember now what flash ID. i tried to read flash but an error has ocurred. and then it aborted. i powered up the phone and then CS was on display. i downloaded the eeprom and tried to fix it, but everything seemed ok.
after that, i managed to retrieve the flash. tried to upload the flash again, but CS remained. then i tried to upload the full backup from fatum's site (5110 5.11) and the phone powered on, with no contact service. but this time, no network
i think that the problem is in some part of my flash file. how can i repair this? how can i locate the damaged bytes in flash? please help guys. Y2K, Cyberdog, Blu3fish, everyone!!! HELP!!! this is something i was not expecting. thnx in advance

hey guys,

why you didn't used nokiatool 034 for unlocking v05.11, it's fast and save I think...
I'm using flashing only if it's necessary and there is no other way...for v05.29 and higher..

hi D L .. try this ....

1) put original backup into your phone...
2) now read your phont again but in 4 chunks ... (remember to rename the flash.out after each chunk)
00200000-00280000
00280000-00300000
00300000-00380000
00380000-00400000
3) now put fatums backup into handset
4) try puting one of the backup chunks into your phone at a time.
5) see when contact service pops up!
6) now you know which block its in ....
7) with the faulty block in your phone, read that block as smaller blocks ....
8) till you get to the 65536 byte block that is giving you trouble
9) now if i am correct the block will have some bytes ff ff ff fe ff ff, try changing the odd byte to ff using hex editor
10) load you original phone backup, then the new 65536bytes edited file and the message should be gone.

i have this problem on a 7110 and 8210 and corrected it this way.

YOU know that the signal is not there because the imei in the eeprom and the imei in the flash dont match ...

in a phone that old have you tried bartek imei changer 1.2 on the eeprom bin file ?

ok friend i leave you to try this ...

let us know how you got on .
