Member: 6570 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Dead 3210 5.36 - "flash status error" I tried first to unlock it with Jethro. Everything seemed fine, detected flash ID (001F00C0 - Atmel 16Mb), clicked ok, the program said the phone was unlocked but it doesn't light up anymore. I started work with Dejan flasher. I've never been able to read from the phone, all I've ever got is 00 FF 00 FF. Trying to write the 5.36 partial flash, I use the Atmel 16 f_loader (5840 bytes), and everything seems fine - it gets to 'erasing flash', says 'done', but when it tries to write it gives me 'Flash Status Error'. The 5840 byte f_loader is the only on that gets me this far. I've tried all 4 boot.bin files I have, 808, 848, 868 and 964 bytes, they all give the same result. Help! What's going on... Thanks |

Member: 2274 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Lol! I helped a lot of people like you! :-) First: I´m nearly sure, that this damn jethro detected wrong software version! How should he can detect, if the flash is unreadable??? :-) First I will send you now the right new loader for reading 3210 with your Flash-ID! With this you will read the full flash from 0020-0040! Zip this backup and send it to me! I will detect real version and send you repaired backup! Greetings MR... |

Member: 6570 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Thanks a lot guys, I'm new to this stuff and browsing for GSM-related stuff I keep coming across sites asking for money for flashes and simple tools... it's great to know there are still people like you around, doing it for the 'sport'. Brobble's f_loader and boot let me read fine, thanks a lot, hope you can give me some answers :-) Anyone have any concrete ideas about what 'flash status error' means though? Gantulga's message sounds scary :- |

Member: 6570 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Phone is repaired, everything went perfectly on another computer. Clearly mine's too slow - P2 300, or some other problem. I tried it on a friend's PC, P2 350, everything worked first time - flashed Brobble's full flash got the phone working, then unlocked with partial.
Thanks anyway for the repaired flash Brobble, judging by the number of differences the old one must have been corrupted by my computer??
Thanks to everyone, I'm a poor student and I definitely couldn't have afforded a new phone... |
