Dejan Update Problem... - GSM-Forum

I have Dejan 1.02 box and everything was perfect before relodings windows again.The old version is win98 first edition.Now it is second edition.Dejan 1.04 program writes full flash perfectly but not updating after turning on phone.Sometimes only imei comes to screen but gives me "bad connection" message.I run program from dos platform with cwsdpmi program , everything is good include updating.I think there is windows problem.But where is the problem ?

Hi,

I tried ECP,SPP,EPP,ECP+EPP but nothing.Also i can't change my computer because i think it is not computer (hardware) problem.
Before i delete windows 98 first edition , program was working very well.Now i am using windows 98 second edition , Flash updating is still working but after finishing flash updating , program say "power on the phone ,wait a little,then press anter".
I am turning on phone , phone is working , i am waiting a little (3-4 seconds) ,after pressing enter , sometimes only imei comes sometimes none , program gives me bad connection.So i must use MBUS Faid updater.I have only FAID update program in Dejan.
But in DOS environment (not dos box) , i am using CWSDPMI and NKFL_104 program is working 100 %.
I think it is windows problem , somethings is conflicting.
But what ?
Any help ?

I have same problem.I have W98SE and sometimes cant calculate FAID with box after writing FLASH.(bad connection)
I have sometimes same error if i making autoupdate-some items are read....and error:-((
Any suggestion?

On my pc (win2k) I have problems using dls or nworkshop with box after I have run MSN messenger or Outlook Express...

As long as I don't start these progs everything works fine... Maybe this is of some help to you... possibly some software interferes with box and causes malfunction.

May be you should trun off aditional SW (anti-virus SW etc.).
