What if you update the phone on non-automatic mode? will it flash?

I have the same problem on windows... If I exit to DOS and run a dos extender (cwsdpmi) it works fine...

Hi MP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What is ID in propic2 LPT programmer????????
How RESET the PIC?????????
==========================================
thanks

1) Program blank chip with the new HEX file (Dex1.HEX)

2) Put the chip in place where it'll be working for at least 1 second.
If you use the same board please ensure that the power supply goes to the chip for at
least 1 second. Ideally - put the chip into standard 5V power supply working condition for
PIC (4 - Reset, 5 - GND, 14 - VCC, 16 - 4MHz external clock or crystal between 15&16),
switch power supply ON, ((((((((((((((((((((((((RESET PIC))))))))))))), wait 1 second, switch OFF.
At this point the Data memory is programmed.
3) Insert chip again into programmer and program it with the Dex0.HEX file.
The programmer will tell you about ERROR for last memory locations - no problem, it's OK.

During programming please set the next parameters for Configuration Word (CFGW):
Oscillator (FOSC): XT
(WDTE): Disabled
(PWRTE): Enabled
(BODEN): Disabled
(CP): Disabled

Best Regards
-=G3=- [email protected]

Hi

If the DPMI is not supported, the program will never start. If you do not use 8 MHz crystal the Mbus will not work.

Best regards
Daniel

Here it is: cwsdpmi.exe

Run as "cwsdpmi -s- -p" before running flasher...

If you don't have much physical ram run as "cwsdpmi -p"

About M2BUS for me it only does not work in a DOS box running on Windows... WinDLS works great, so MBUS works for me...

Try WINDLS 2.7 (free version) and tell me if it works..

Hello,

Dejan Program inside PIC does not work with 4Mhz
Crystal Oscillator. Please follow the schematics
because that is all you have to do... (8Mhz xtal).

If you use 4Mhz Xtal, you will only get BOX ID
and limit function working, all the rest will not
work!

Best Regards,
X-Shadow

If flashing works then use WinlDLS 2.7 (it's free and downloadable everywhere) to calc the FAID. Works for me and should work for you even at 4Mhz...

About using a 4Mhz crystal... Try to use an 8Mhz one, even if you have a 16ce625-04... I've seen reports that it works...

The PIC that should be used is the 16ce625-20 with an 8Mhz crystal.
