Detecting ring signal: 6110 - GSM-Forum

I'd like to detect when a Nokia 6110 is ringing, so I can drive some external circuitry. Does anyone know how I could manage this?

I've heard that this phone can have vibrating batteries. Obviously there is some sort of signal being sent to the battery so that it knows when to vibrate. Does anyone know how that works - is it one of the four battery terminals, or is the signal sent through the pins at the bottom of the phone?

I'll give U a suggestion,when the phone rings it emites EMW
(Electro Magnetic Waves) wich makes the sticker flashers to
glow with light. "Here is the link " By the use of a light sensor
(photo transistor,light resistor ect) U can design and build a
compleet external sensor.
