Post display 8210

Hi All,

I have a problem with my 8210. The display doesn't work. Sometimes I can see it but most off the time it's gone. Or it gets a bit weird, as if the phone throws all the pixels through eachother.
I already tried to clean the contacts, and to tighten the screws a bit more, but nothing helps.
Is it the display that is broken, or is for example the software of the phone not alright?

Can somebody help me?

Regards

Alfons

yes, the display contacts are bad, change the display contacts, and there are good.

You say: change the displaycontacts, but what do you mean by that?
I can change the whole display, including frame, but I can't change the contacts, can I?
And if yes, where can I get these contacts?

Best Regards

Alfons

check if your LCD had two SMD capacitors at the back... if yes, then that two capacitors can be the possible problem that causes your display to come and gone...

try first to check the cond, back, if u still have same problem so change the display, it may have been that it have got some "crazy things". But check the thing around the display first, I meen, the contact etc!!!
Good luck!

Thanks guys for your replies!

I have already ordered a display, incl. a complete frame. I guess that should do it anyway.
But Ambot, there are indeed two SMD capacitors at the back. But my display doesn't come an go now, it's just that some lines aren't displayed. Could it be those two capacitors?
Well, thanks anyway

Best regards

Alfons

Lines in the lcd cannot be repaired.. except if the elastomer are just loose or dirty... these lines came about by pressure on the lcd or fallen 8210

Just have to replace the lcd man
