Does Nk_calc working on AMD machine? - GSM-Forum

I have a TBird 1400, but I always get "bad connection" error. I read everything about the cables. I think my Mbus cable is ok.

Is anybody using this soft with AMD based machine?

No problems with same comp (Athlon TB1400), using nk_calc in win98se and home made cable with mbus/fbus switch

I successfully solved the problem. I built a new cable. Now it is working on TB1400@1700.

I'm using it just fine on AMD Athlon XP 1700+ (Windows 98 SE) on COM2 (COM1 doesn't work for me?)

On my AMD 900, I either get bad connection or it just does nothing. I made the cable, works fine for all other mbus software, where am I going wrong? Any help appreciated.

these are Dejan's word's:

Quote:

First, run setup and select appropriate COM port
Second, be sure that in BIOS is:
COM1 port = 3F8 IRQ = 4
COM2 port = 2F8 IRQ = 3
Also, use MBUS from schematic m2bus.gif in mk_calc.zip
Remove all resident programs that uses COM ports.

download dexdebug from dejan site
reboot in msdos run dexdebug then nk_calc

Runs a treat for me like this on any machine !

i use original fleasher cabeles, but i made myself a cables so i can use all flashercables
