Empty display after nk_calc - GSM-Forum

Hi!

I've used nk_calc on a 3310, and it has removes the simlock. But the display's empty?! Sometime the display is there just in the start, but when clicking a button it disappears.

What can be wrong?

Hi, Here is solution: 1-Flash another mcu ppm to your phone... 2-calculate faid with F1 in nk_calc 3-If your phone have lock closed go to (*),if no,reset to factory and your phone is well now... *-Press F3 in nk_calc *-Now your phone have Display... Report me results

Already tried. The phone had v5.03 - and after the problem appeared I've tried to update to v5.13 - same problem :-/

Hope you (or other) can help...

Please explain me how is your phone now: is IMEI good??? SP-Locks??? Display???

Phone works OK:

Correct IMEI No locks I can call from/to it

The display is just blank - as soon as I press some keys. And I can only get it back by turning it off and on - and the display just goes blank again when pressing keys...

Strange!

Hmm... It may be your EEPROM Problem. Do these: -Full Backup your EEPROM first -Write another FULL FLASH (200000-400000) to your phone -Go to nk_calc -Press F1 -Press F3 -Press F2 and correct imei -Press F1 -Reset phone to factory. -Report me

Well, it's REALLY weird.

I'm trying without SIM-card now...

I can turn it on and it asks for SIM-card. I can push any buttons several times - and there's no problem...

If i press *#06# I can se the IMEI-number for ½ a second (or less), and the display goes blank...

It's about the same problem when using a SIM-card, the display does not just turn off when pressing any key - but when pressing Menu and others - it does...

I'm going to try what you're suggesting later - thanks!

I have the same problem in Two Nokia 3310 version 5.03.

The display works just fine - until I press some buttons, so I don't think changing it would solve the problem. You're saying you've repaired several of these problems? Exactly which problems? The exact same problem (nothing in display (after pressing buttons) after using nk_calc)?

Schwantz:

The contrast is just fine - until I press some buttons. I've tried to change it with NKProfile, doesn't help.
