Post Fast charger and Normal charger?

concerning the battery life of the phone, is there any difference when using the fast and light charger compared to the normal charger?

when using the normal charger on does it decrease the battery life?

and is there any difference for different kinds of battery? like Ni-MH or Li-ion?

Fast charging decreases life of the battery, but in phones is charging not too fast. Standart charger is 350mA fast is 500mA. I think it will not decrease lifetime of battery.
Li ion battery can make about 400 charging cycles, Ni Mh about 600.

its a fact that the slow charger is better in terms of prolonging batt life.... but it has little differences from the fast charger

the advantages / convenience of the fast charger out weights the single advantage of the slow charger

still.. i use the fast charger everyday and just use the slow charger once a week to recondition batts

icic thanks.. that's what i thought.. but i heard that the fast charger is better because slow charging will cause crystal to form in battery, thus reducing battery life?

ideal charging is .... 900 mAh battery charging 90 mA (to maximum voltage) about 12 - 14 hours...
Very fast charging damage the battery, and leave the battery non charget for long time, high temperature. This are things that can damage the battery
