Member: 2786 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 |  Fast charger and Normal charger? when using the normal charger on does it decrease the battery life? and is there any difference for different kinds of battery? like Ni-MH or Li-ion? |

Member: 2721 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 23 | Fast charging decreases life of the battery, but in phones is charging not too fast. Standart charger is 350mA fast is 500mA. I think it will not decrease lifetime of battery. Li ion battery can make about 400 charging cycles, Ni Mh about 600. |

Member: 1272 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 3 | its a fact that the slow charger is better in terms of prolonging batt life.... but it has little differences from the fast charger the advantages / convenience of the fast charger out weights the single advantage of the slow charger still.. i use the fast charger everyday and just use the slow charger once a week to recondition batts |

Member: 2721 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 23 | ideal charging is .... 900 mAh battery charging 90 mA (to maximum voltage) about 12 - 14 hours... Very fast charging damage the battery, and leave the battery non charget for long time, high temperature. This are things that can damage the battery |
