Flash 3310 under Win2000 from 4.19 to 5.55 - GSM-Forum

Who can help me? I have bought a Datacable and unlocked my providers sim lock and now I want to flash my Nokia 3310 from version 4.19 to 5.55. I use for it a flasher cable (for LPT), I also bought. But Rolis 4.77 means that it doesn't work under Windows2000 and Win DDP starts, but the Software doesn't connect to the phone and all buttons are grey, so I can't click on it.

Can somebody give me a *** describtion, how to update my phone under windows2000???

How can I test the Flasher Cable if all works fine?

PS: Sorry for my english, but I normally speaks german :-)

try it on win 98.

I don't have installed win98 - isn't there an other way?

Look for Userport on google.
Works 100% with Rolis, windls and win2k.
It makes com and lpt ports better accesible.

Userport work under XP probbably also under 2000.
I upgraded to 5.55 with Rolins 4.77.
