flashing dct3 through parallel PCI card???? - GSM-Forum

Hi my onboard parallel port is not functioning on my new pc. so i bought a MRi parallel port PCI card.

This works fine for my printer but no flashing software works through this PCI card. (Windows 98 still picks it up as LPT1.)

Does anyone have any ideas, or is it just not possible to operate flashing soft through PCI LPT card.

any info much appreciated.

Cant you use the port that came on the pc ?
