Post Flashing olny MCU

Tried hands with 8210 v5.20. After having downloaded an MCU+PPM (v5.29+"E") and calculating FAID everything worked fine. But man is always unsatisfied Downloaded from Brad's site 8210_530.fls and flashed from #200000. Result was Contact Dejan. what did I do wrong? Of course restored the 5.29+"E". Used Koci logger.

Is it possible with these logger stuffz to change merely the MCU?

wbr,

L.

changing only MCU will put the phone into contact service as the MCU checksum thats stored in the PPM wont match that in the MCU section. someone yesterday was talking about changing the MCU checksum in PPM so it matched (last 6 bytes) but i think there may be something more that links the versions together.

Hi

Mr Lacika, does it work now with different versions of MCU and PPM packages?

PPM package:
As seen the structure of the PPM all the data links inside the PPM can be obtained from the package itself.

This makes it worthwhile assuming it is self structuring.
