Cool

Cool
Just delete the last number in message center number. (0 or 1) Then just put in a 2 And There you go! Number 2 is only for "pre paid users" of Optus Australia.
So the msg center number would be +61411990002.
Have fun!

kewl.. so just change the message center number to +61411990002 and it wont charge you because it's for prepaid customers only won't be charged to your bill?

so what if you are on prepaid and not on plan? if you change it to +61411990000 will it charge you?

and what are the list of 20-30 different +61xxxxxxxxx numbers? will they work?

Cool

Change the number to +61411990002 if u are optus pre paid. I dont know the free msg center numbers on other operators in Australia.
+61411990000 +61411990001 +61411990003 all charge! So watch out.
The other 20-30 different +61xxxxxxxxx numbers are telstra, vodafone, one tel other different Aussi operators.
Test them out!

hmm.. the +61411990002 number only works for prepaid? i'm on contract and i have no way of checking whether the message cost me or not.

my friend has prepaid and when i get a message from him, the message center that it was sent from is the +61411990001 number..
