You mean to say when somebody calls you on your mobile phone, you don't know whom it was calling you or what number is trying to contact you?

Don't your mobile phone have Caller ID?

Unless you are into code grabbing technology (specialist hardware) or you physically read his sim card, you will not be able to steal any numbers. why would you want to do this to your 'friend' anyway?

Let me get this straight:
1. You are [Person A].
2. Your "friend" is [Person B].
3. Your "friend's" friend is [Person C].

Scenario:
1. [Person B] calls [Person C].
2. [Person A] contacts [Person B] and
[Person A] tries to "steal" contact list from
[Person B] including [Person C]'s number,
without [Person B] knowing about it.

Answer:
No way...Only possible way for [Person A] to know the contact list on [Person B]'s phone is to get hold of [Person B]'s phone or SIM.

Or [Person B] sends [Person A] his contacts using "Business Card" by mobile.

Hi, I would like to explain the queastion better:

1. I am [Person A].
2. My "friend" is [Person B].
3. My "friend's" friend is [Person C].
Scenario:
1. [Person B] calls [Person C].
2. While [Person B] contacts [Person C,
[Person A] tries to "steal" phone nummer from
[Person B], without [Person B] knowing about it.
That is my question.

Thanx all for trying to help me with this question
