HELP ! with 3310 to 3315 ! - GSM-Forum

hi, ive put the 3315 file on the 3310 all went ok, now ive come to use epprom tools and it says fone not connected on all ports, and so do the other progs, i dont no wot 2 do now, cos i dont really no n e fing bout this, cos my m8 online was helpin me 2 do it and he dont no wot 2 do !!!

can any e 1 help ?

can i get it back 2 normal 3310 again, i didnt make a back up!

by eeprom vergans and change emei and ppm and mcu for any vergan of 3310

No. You need m2bus and NOT fbus

u cant update the faid in this conversion with eeprom tools, you have to use knok engine builder 22. If you want to get it back to a normal 3310, just flash a normal mcu+ppm pack

First, I dont understand why you did not backup! Does a few minutes really matter to you? Now that your phone is dead, I'd say that would be lesson enough.

Buy or build a decent mbus cable. Search for old posts on how to convert your fbus to mbus!

Get your hands on virgin eeproms (now don't be too naughty with the virgins!

)

Flash whatever MCU and PPM version you'd want.

I suggest you do your work in Win95 environment, because if it wont work in Win95, chances are it wont work in any other OS. Unless you use NK_CALC, then DOS is much stable than Windows.

Well, as for me, my 3310 is now 3315 v5.47 (3310 v5.47 with 3315 features) with language pack I (yes, Arabic and Hebrew looks cool!

)

Still, if you dont get it back to life, see a pro!

if you have 3310 with v 5,47 just use pclocals and set bit 30 of eeprom to position 1 (from 0) there's no need to flash the phone !
tested on 2 different phones
