Post Help!!! 6210 security code error inspite of correct code!

Hi! my friend gave me his 6210 v3.01 germany inorder to retrieve his security code coz he forgot it. I was able to read it using logomanager however when I tried to enter the code already, it gives me a code error. I suspect he tried to enter the wrong code more than 5 times and so the phone security was activated. Can anyone help me on this? Can full flashing the phone erase it? Someone suggested doing a full flash backup of the phone and search for the security code in the file and then replace it to a 5 digit code with your liking and then reflash the phone. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!!!

Hi All

I am sure Y2K or X-shadow covered this problem (Maybe try a search) if my memory is correct it will have to go to Nokia Service Center for special equipment unlock by them.

Do not full flash this will not cure it, it has advanced security only found on 6210

Regards
Charlie
