Help with 8210
 

my 8210 has been out of action for two months now, getting no signal. i returned it to nokia via ashop ive used in the past.

when i got the phone back it came with a slip saying unable to repair phone - damaged due to bad software flash. when you power up the phone you get contact service.

i have tried to flash the phone to repair this but now it wont power on!!!!

what can i do to fix the phone and what software do i need..


P.S. tried re-flashing with the backup but rolis gives me an error when i try and open the flash file.

Try to flash another phone's full backup (MCU + PPM + PMM + Eeprom) into the phone!Don't forget the FAID and SFR!!! :) But it seems like hardware fault... :((( I don't understand:you gave the equipment to the service with radio signal problem and you got it back completely unswitchable (in Contact Service state)?!Thats not a servician...Thats a looser... :)))
