guys i have a stupid question??
how can i make dark flasher shell work... every time i click on something... it always says "error 53" file noy found?? help please....

u must unpack the files to the right directory. unpack all files and move them by hand if you have doubts. the directory tree couldn't be more clearer.

i extracted your shell to drive c: then manually placed the fls files in the partial folder... but still error occurs... help m8?

download all the files from www.crosswinds.net/~darklemming except for the html and the jpg. extract darflashershellXXX.zip to any directory you like. lets take, for example, 'C:\darklemming'

next unpack the 3210_partial into the directory you just created. be sure to unpack it to c:\darklemming and not c:\darklemming\3210_partial. do not unpack into partial DIR either, cause the zip files have path info. do the same thing for all the other XXXX_partial.zip files and unpack the dependency files (DLL, OCX and TBL) to your system DIR. if this cannot help you guys, i sugest you buy a new PC, cause my shell is working on every PC i've tryed... regards

i followed everything , i dont see error 53 file not found anymore but now i see error 70 permission denied... what did i do wrong now???

you mustn't install the program in win2k or winME/98 if you don't have all permitions. check that you can write to all directories. i can't help you further since i never experienced this kind of error before

I´m working with this shell under Win98se... no problems at all

. I think you ppl don´t have all permissions in your PC

or else you would not have this problem.

im using it in windows me... maybe thats the problem.... im using pentium III 1000... anyway thanks alot... maybe i should try a different shell.. thanks dark for explaining.... more power..

try this one, right click on c:\nk_files directory,clik properties then uncheck read only, do the same w/ flasher directory..

hi,

I use a lot this prog by dark... but sometimes it gives me that same error... i just close prog and restart it and the error is gone! It happens sometimes with a few versions of 3310 and 7110...

dark flasher shell is now working with me... i rename all my partial flash to phone-version.fls i put it manually to partial folder... nk_files have no fls files... but i think there is something wrong... every time i flash a phone... i have to delete the fls in the nk_folder manually so that it will work again? strange...
