HELP please. nokia 6190

Hello there,

i own an unlocked Nokia 6190 in mint condition. It turns on perfectly fine, can navigate through the menu , etc.

But when i insert my ATT sim card in the device, the phone is not registering it as an active sim. The antenna reads zero bars. however i can scroll through my sim phone book with easy. so it is reading it, but not activating the att network.

would anyone have ANY thoughts on how to get this working?

please help - also if i am in the wrong forum section, please direct me to the one i need to be in. i would love to get my phone working.

Nokia 6190 is single band phone and only works on GSM 1900 frequency. Make sure your network broadcasts on 1900mhz otherwise you will receive no signal
