You will need a cable if you are gonna use software from the net. but don't use wintesla, I don't know of any software from the net that will do this without killing the phone. The best way I have found is to use an eprom programmer. I alway do it this way if customers insist on having the number changed, but if it's just barred from the Orange network it will still work on all the others so just unlock it and use it on Vodaphone or swap it with somone on another network |

Member: 2159 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 3 | Hello Pat UK! Are you sure you're able to change IMEI with only EEPROM? It can only be done by a sec. box as far as I know Because IMEI is also stored in the flash. You should check if your IMEI change really worked. Maybe phone displays the changed IMEI, but it uses another to log onto the network... ------------------ ======================= Dirk's GSM Site http://gsmsoft1.tsx.org ======================= |

Member: 2274 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | I have downloaded an 3210 IMEI-Changer-Software, too. But I never will test it. ItŽs a DOS-Program, that changes the EEPROM-Dump, but I doŽnt believe, that this woŽnt kill my phone. BTW I doŽnt want to change the IMEI. If anybody wants to try, mail me. Greetings MR... |
