Can anybody tell me how to change Nokia 3210 IMEI with cable or without cable ?

Why do you want to change the Number ????.

You will need a cable if you are gonna use software from the net. but don't use wintesla, I don't know of any software from the net that will do this without killing the phone.

The best way I have found is to use an eprom programmer. I alway do it this way if customers insist on having the number changed,

but if it's just barred from the Orange network it will still work on all the others so just unlock it and use it on Vodaphone or swap it with somone on another network

Are you sure you're able to change IMEI with only EEPROM? It can only be done by a sec. box as far as I know

Because IMEI is also stored in the flash. You should check if your IMEI change really worked. Maybe phone displays the changed IMEI, but it uses another to log onto the network...

It always appears OK on the Phone and seems to have unbarred 2 5130 (NK402). so I assumed it was no differant with the 3210 as it's basicly the same Eprom

I have downloaded an 3210 IMEI-Changer-Software, too. But I never will test it. It´s a DOS-Program, that changes the EEPROM-Dump, but I do´nt believe, that this wo´nt kill my phone. BTW I do´nt want to change the IMEI. If anybody wants to try, mail me.
