Member: 641 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | The times that Nokia (and every other company) gives are laboratory mesured. That means under perfect network conidtions - something that you don't get in real life. Mind that even if your mobile shows full signal ,it isn't nessecery to have real full signal. If you think for a sec the temperature, humidity and other stuff you'll see that the phone will never achive the company's times. Another think 5110 had a 900mAh (and for a long time NiMH) battery.... You must be a happy man to achive 60% to 70% of the company's mesurements. Nitas. |

Member: 2006 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | I think you will find that if you activate half rate EFR and stop your sim clock you will find the battery will last nearer the 260 hours, this time is for standby which means you must not dial out or let it ring during this time |

Member: 1848 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | reply to Nitas... my 5110 was using the same sim card as my 3210 for i swap it over to my 3210. Also 3210 battery capacity is 1250 mAh so should last longer then 5110 battery but NOT TRUE. Reply to PatUK... i have already activated the half EFR but still only 5 days max. regarding sim clock i never tried that before. however for my 5110 i never done any tweaking at all and i got about 10days on standby. of course i did not fiddle around with it at all. Member: 641 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | From what I know, 3210 is provided with a battery of 600-650 mAh.I assume that the battery you are using is not original... and propably doesn't have the capacity that it's written on it. ( I hate when some companies do that). Now, in case your battery is a new original then I can't tell what's wrong. I've seen 3210 with a stantard original battery which had 6 days stand-by time !!!! Member: 1848 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | to NITAS..... as far as i know my battery should be original. however it didn't write down the capacity which is same as other 3210 that my friends got. i got the capacity from the nokia website and it says 1250mAh and the model number is the same so i assumed it's the same. I bought my phone from a big company in UK called "the link". so i belief it should be original. this is confusing.... if there is anyone reading this and has seen a 3210 that last 260 hours on standby could you voice up please!! perhaps you can help me!! thanks!! |
