HOW TO FLASH 3210 & 8210 ? - GSM-Forum

Hello,

please if here I could find recent updated information about where to find necessary cable and software for flashing my 3210 and 8210.. I'd greatly appreciate.

I see a lot of different cables for flashing.. or for simply logomanager.. I guess they are not the same .. yes ?

Or does my usuall cable can fit ?
Also, is cable need to be with special soft ? If no, why is there different types of cables ??? what one I need to take ? I have serial port and UBS on my computer ;. . . parallel too, if removing printer

Hi

If you thing to flash in the future then just buy simple "Dejan flasher" with cables .With it you can flash only DCT3 phones with Geo flasher or rolis and etc...All of them work good and what is matter it is not so expensive.If you need only two phones for flashing 3210 and 8210 then is batter to give them in some shop or to somebody who unlocking and etc...That is for the most cheaply way.
Flasher is one litle device that is connected to parallel port.
Com port`s are used for Logo manager and similarly programs.
For using Logo manager and other similarly programs you need Fbus\Mbus cable.

thanks for informations...
I effectively have a 21 pins flash cable for 8210 and other one for 3210.

Also, the nokia tools software even in automatic research does not find any phone.. :-(

I really amazed because of this.. I tryed a lot of flazhing softwares.... I am not stupid in computer techn,ologies and manipulations. . . but for this matter, I really not see what's wrong . ..

also, if using IR connection... isn't it possible to unlock a mobile phone ?
Or really need a usual (not flash) Data cable minimum too ?

Dear Sirs,

I manages with Nokia Phoenix software..
I read and made backup of my 3210 and 8210 phones on my hard disk of Fullflashes...

For now, I looking for "clean" Fullflashes and really do not manage to find so easily ...
for 8210 v5.30
for 3210 v5.10

also, is there really other parameters that are needed ?

Can we replace a v5.30 by v5.31 or v6.00 ?? is it possible to upgrade ? because I read that it was necessary to keep the same versions. . .. so what is thruth ?
