Does anyone have any solution / workaround on how to make Nokia Tool and similar programs work under windows 2000?

yes <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0"> <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0"> use a spezial port driver that alow you again full control of the ports <img src="wink.gif" border="0">

use totalio.sys for example and start this with "net start totalio" or stop it with "net stop totalio"

100% right,, but Y2K forgot the most important Problem, uve to write this question in the right section is software zone <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

TOTALIO.SYS Got it, installed it. Started it automatically. However I still can't get the program Nokia Tool to read my phone via COM port 1 & 2. Still the same error "phone not connected". Hope you guys can share your method on how to do this right. It's so time consuming rebooting to win98 everytime I need to fix a phone with Nokia Tool.

Thanks, I know a lot out there want a solution to this too.

Hi. Try programm "UserPort" for me work fine - Flasher and Nokia Tool.
