First, don't do that if you don't have backup.

If you change eprom area, I think that is 3D0000-400000 but not for shure 100% you will change imei but you will got all 4 locks closed with values FFFFFF. Phone will write insert correct sim card, and repairing is possible only to send log to Dejan Kraljevic and to pay him 50$.

BUT uve to know

there are three thins u may Face

1- Contact Service OR<br />2- Sim Card Not Accepted OR<br />3- the Phone will work but with No Network. and Restarts Automaticlly every 45 sec. So u cant make a good Score in SnakII <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

dont try to do this Unless U<br />1- got Nokia Serivce Equepment Boxes) or <br />2- got or know any one got Dejan 1.04, can repair it with Log file OR<br />3- U backuped the Flash and Upload it again to the Phone.

actually i forgot but i just wanna confirm.<br />i know it will overwrite the eeprom, so will the IMEI change to another?<br />Any sw that can check whether the 4 locks are locked with just FBUS cable?

ok first of all thanks for all response.<br />i've bought a sw and i was trying to repair my 3310 V4.24. I backed up of cux and tried some experiments with it.

I uploaded a 2MB file onto the phone, and it goes to "insert correct card". I can't SP unlock it because i dun have any flasher cables ready now.<br />I found out that even after i upload a diff phone's 2MB file with the device, the IMEI did not change and the checksum is still the same. So i wanna confirm will the IMEI be changed under normal circumstances using Dejan V1.0 and 2mb file.

Anyone with Dejan box 1.04 also experienced my problem with insert correct card after flashing?
