Hi! I am going to write a new software : "Flash Authorithy ID Calculator" .who can help me by doing this :

upgrade MCU & PPM in your phone and :

-after upgrading and before calculating log: read phone with KNOK nokia flasher (Read menu > read security phoneinfo). save log in "Before.log" now calculate flash id with koci logger "or other" and then do next :

-after upgrading and after calculating log: read phone with KNOK nokia flasher (Read menu > read security phoneinfo). save log in "After.log"

Now send me "Before.log" & "After.log"

Oh well ... no one lives for ever, not even nokia phones <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> so.... Just give me the steps to make the upgrade and after that how to put the phone working again smoothely as it was before. I have a NK-FLASH2 cable and KNOK just send me the logger pls. If you have I would also like the flash range for as many phones as you can. I also know C/C++ programming so if you need any other help just let me know and I will help you if I can.

Just One Thought ! <img src="tongue.gif" border="0"> Do'nt you think that the flash ID Aouthority Algorithm Is not only in the nokia Box Doungle ! Nokia Phone must recognize that Faid that you updated in to the phone with the one of the loggers is the correct ! So don't you think that Faid calculation algorithm is inside nokia Phone too.... It's a just one thought ... may be i am wrong <img src="wink.gif" border="0"> <img src="tongue.gif" border="0"> <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

Yeah I thought the same but came to the conclusion It won't be in readable flash memory, but instead be either integrated to a cpu or stored elsewhere securly... After all, it IS intended for security, if you think about it, the FaID is only intended to stop people who can access flash memory anywsy! So they won't leave it in plain sight..

I haven't heard of a way to access anything other than flash memory with dejan flasher, but I may be wrong!!!
