strange 8850 pls some help - GSM-Forum

Hi,

I have a 8850 which is acting strange.
The display often drops out the leds are still burning but I can't see anything anymore.
This happens often when the phone is turned on or just when I go to inbox or even just when I want to go to the menu. (It always happens when the moving square suppose to show... you know the searching thing)

it's original version was 5.29 but I flashed 5.30 to it. (and it still is the same prob)
and now I flashed also back to 5.29 but still no improvement.

what can I do about this prob??
The local gsm shops say it is software prob (that is why I upgrade/downgraded it) but actually I don't believe them.

I had the same problem some weeks ago,but after changing display the phone is working well, maybe you have also this problem.Before changing complete display,try to change the contact rubber - its cheaper.

Hi.
You only need to rotate "the contact rubber" up side down...
