need help-full flash for 6210 4.36!!!!!! - GSM-Forum

hi can anyone help, i was recently experimenting with nfree1.2

i read the full flash of my 6210 4.36 and filed it away for safe keeping. ( checked file was ok with hex editor)

i then experimented changing the security code with nfree1.2. i wrote this new flash back to my phone but it would not power on. so ithought no probs as i have an untouched backup. when i wrote this backup to my phone, to my horror phone still did not power up.
any ideas?

so if anyone has a link to a full flash for a UK 6210 4.36 it would be much appreciated

could someone confirm that there should not be any problems in reading full flash and writing it back? 200000-600000

and does anyone know where i can download full flash for 4.36 uk language

yOUR PHONE ONLY WILL WORK WITH YOUR ORIGINAL BACKUP 200-600, it isn`t the same that in 3210 for example, with external eeprom. BR.

Hi!

I have a full backup of 4.36 but i think this not work your phone...if you want i put a ftp....
oooops, my backup is NOT english, this is a 4.36J (PPM).
do yuo want it?

i actually made two backups of my phone before i started playing with it. first one was 200000-400000

and 2nd one was 200000-600000

after writing these backups back in different combinations i still had no joy. i rekon that the full backup must be corrupt some where from 400000-600000.

so my thoughts are that that i would try writing a patch file from 400000-005FC000 from a different 6210 (with same ppm)
this should keep my eprom in tact.

so i think i will need to find 436 with english ppm and take patch from there.
what do u think?

is it possible that the odd backup is read incorrectly. or is it that my backup must have been altered somehow.
