6210 and Datasuite - GSM-Forum

Is the 6210 is supposed to be compatiable with Datasuite 3.0a?? and can the Datacable that came with the Datasuite for 51xx/61xx (DAU-9P) be used with the 6210??

I tried that cable with Logomanager and that works fine, but it doesn't work with the Datasuite or the 6210 PC Suite.. any ideas? 6210 uses different cable?

Datasuite and DAU9P is not supposed to be used with 62xx and 71xx. Except that DAU9P can be used to this units but only with logo manager.

As for Datasuite, it is intended to be used for 51/61 only. But we just able to force it by tweaking with its registry but the result is not good because you can only send text but can't manage your phonebook.

6210 and 7110 uses a DLR3 cable and 6210 uses PCSuite. As for 7110, I think Nokia forgot to finish the PCSuite for it. But Third party software like handset manager and fonesync works with 7110.

7110 use DLR-3
6210 use DLR-3P

I dont know what is difference, but I think that they are acutually the same... Like DAU-9 and DAU-9P...

hmmm.. so with PC Suite you have to use the DLR-3P cable? because I tried it with the DAU-9P and it didn't work properly. what registry key do I change to get it working with this cable?

PC Suite doesn't have a phonebook manager built in to it like Datasuite. is there any third party program that is like the datasuite phonebook manager? if there is where do i get it?

and by the way the DAU-9P cable I have is the original Nokia one that came with the Datasuite, is this cable just Fbus or both Fbus/Mbus?
