New MCU software for 6210 and 6250 - GSM-Forum

6210:
New MCU software version 5.01 has been released for NPE-3.

Changes made from version 4.36 to 5.01:

The first WAP call cometimes fails after answering/missing a MT PSTN call
When trying to delete a received picture message the phone sometimes freezes
When erasing unread SMS from phone by cable or IrDA, SMS icon stays on display
Added function for UI to check, if Data cable is connected or not

6250:
New MCU software version 4.04 has been released for NHM-3.

Changes made from version 4.01 to 4.04:

Improvements in SMS: phonebook memory re-configuration
Improvements in Task Journal: "Task active on background" notification now displayed also when exiting the Task Journal by pressing "Back"
Display contrast factory default value changed from 6 to 4
Improved Keylock code shortcut
Operator name list updated (Cosmorom / Romania)

Do you have this Software?
Or do you know, where I can download it?
It's a very interesting software, and if it works, I think its easy to rewrite this software to change version af your phone on all NOKIA phones!!!
Have you test it?

This is official information from service centre of Nokia.
I have this software on my Nokia 6210 tomorow!

MCU SOFTWARE VERSION 5.01 CANCELLED

MCU software version 5.01 should not be used as it can cause following intermittent errors:

Divert freezes the phone
SMS receive freezes the phone when reading
SMS editing freezes the phone

MCU software version 4.36 should be used until new version is released.
