Talking New unlocking method for nokia 8210 , 8850 and other nokias

1. Connect + (positive) of 9v Battery to Mbus cable that leads to the phone. DO NOT CONNECT THE - (negative) first!

2. Put SIM card (any) to phone and turn phone OFF.

3. Connect cable to phone. Here comes the tricky part:

When you turn on your phone, notice that at first the LCD will be all BLACK,

then Blank, then display the battery charge.

You have to connect the - (negative)on ground of phone after the BLACK screen on the LCD will disapper.

Here is the sequence: BLACK SCREEN ---> BLANK SCREEN ---> BATTERY CHARGE

connect the battery at this point and wait for 10 seconds then phone will reboot and is now

unlocked!

you can make a switch between ground of phone and )- negative of the battery so when the screen blanks you press it it is tested by me on the newest firmware of the 8210 and it unlocked it

if you got problems mail me ..

Hi,
It seems that you a hardware specialist and
I would like to ask you if everything in
the phone is 3.3V technology, isn't it a
bit dangerous to attack the MCU with 9V.

Regards

Normally if you would speak about charging the device with a 9v battery then there is a great possibility to blew up the phone but in this case the phone erases the simlock code thats in the phone after doing this the phone restarts from itself and the phone is unlocked it works almost the same like the nokiaclip this device sends a code to the phone instead of a electronic pulse ..

you can try my solution there is nothing wrong with it

i unlocked 10 8210 phones with it firmware 5.11

but the battery must remain in the phone so the phone can be started oterwise it wont work

Question

Hello,
I'm now having problems with 8210 ver.5.20 (the latest). Please, if someone has tested the procedure with 9V can post a reply here since I'm afraid that I may damage the phone in this manner.
Thanks

Where can I buy Nokia 8210 Bundles with Simlock !?

Here in Germany, where I come from, it's not possible to buy such high quality Handys in Prepaid Bundles. So it would be interesting to know, where those bundles are sold and how much they'll cost...

Hi,
I think there are some serial tranceivers on
the board, they buffering the data to and from the MCU and that 9 Volts can only kill
them. I don't think is possible something to
go throw without damage.
