Hi folks,
This may seem like a silly question but here goes...I want a Nokia 3210 and have a Bt cellnet c12, can I take my cellnet sim card and use it in a Nokia phone? I have seen/heard that some Nokia's are on Bt cellnet network but not sure if I can just swap cards. If not, is it possible with any of the Nokia phones?? Thanks a lot.

its possible by getting an open line 3210. meaning, not sim locked to any network.

Thanks MDR. So are you saying I can buy a 3210 and unlock it with software(that I see talked about on this board), put my cellnet sim into it and it will connect to the cellnet network as if it was in the original cellnet c12 phone? Sorry but this is all new to me, my c12 gives me 500 free minutes per top-up and I would really like to carry this over to the Nokia if I can.

hi there is no possible way u can take your sim out of a c12 and put it in another phone as your money is on your phone not your sim card the only way is to get it chipped and hammer it

Just had a thought! Can I start all over again on the Nokia phone then? I mean, ok I loose what credit I have left in my c12 but if I swaped the sim card over and did another top-up(with simcard now in the nokia), which I assumed I'd have to do anyway, would that not work?
