Nokia 2330c Delivery Reports missing on Orange

Due to the absolutely abysmal customer service from Orange and their altogether technical incompetence I've not been able to sort the problem out.


What annoys me more with Orange is it cost 25p to speak to their alleged technical support and they don't have a single clue as to what gives, why i have to pay for their incompetence is beyond me but switching networks is my next plan of action.

In the meantime, the problem....

Nokia 2330c SIM free from new so not tied to any network.

I cannot see the option in the phones menu for delivery reports on a txt message as in I can see the menu to read delivery reports but in the menu for text messages where the ability to switch them on/off is missing.

What i've tried is this.

My orange sim in another phone and I can see the delivery reports on/off tab....another orange sim (not mine) in my 2330c and I can see the delivery reports on/off tab. In fact any sim I put into the phone shows me the delivery reports tab for on/off.

I've changed the sim through Orange, this does not work, I've attempted to get Orange to send me a sim update which they say they have but I haven't gotten them. I'm getting messages no problem..

The SMS section for delivery reports is there but not text message delivery reports.

I've done a full factory restart/deleting of everything but this does not work either.

Any clues?
