Nokia 3210 problems with LCD - GSM-Forum

I welcome!
Such problem:
Has restored from dead NOKIA 3210, all works - calls etc. but one problem has remained bad contact in a place of a joint LCD - RUBBER - PCB, rubber took from other device - problem has remained. Thus if to press slightly the screen that LCD is included and works.
So actually question who how struggled with such problem?

I have struggled such problem. I changed rubber, OK for 2 month, after get wrong contact again. I dissasembeld again the LCD, cleaning it, I cleaned the rubber contact with a rubber (to remove some rubber layer and pull up some new metal conntact from the rubber connector). So, most of the time work good, but somtimes I have to make pressure, and it is enough to get contact again for some days.
It is a technological problem, newer phones like 3310/30 and DCT4 has no rubber connector, these are use metal spring connector.

yes i agree, although for some time contacts from the pcb may be misalligned it is still the best. For old rubber connectors, you just need to strech them a little bit. the prolonged pressure from the screen may have squeezed/compacted it a little bit, but after streching it contacts will be fine. have tested this on my phone or better yet change to a new rubber connector.
