Smile nokia 3210 signal coming and going

My nokia 3210 has been bashed (sadly), the signal strength now goes from signal to no signal (about every three secs. No Operator is shown, then it gets a signal again and the whole thing is repeated.
P.s handy with all types of soldering :-)

Don't agree. I've seen (and repaired) literally dozens of 3210s with this fault - invarably after having been dropped. It's caused by dry-joints on the COBBA BGA. Unfortunately, unless you have access to a hot-air reflow system you'll have to go the Nokia Service Repair route

Thanx omelette.
I new it would be a dry joint somewhere. But where? The COBBA makes sence.
I will try and get my work to buy a hot air gun in the morning.(well it should come in handy for hifi servicing, shouldn't it??)
