Nokia 3310/3330 No network signal

A friend give me a 3310 for free, because it was in the wash machine, and he buy a new phone. The PCB of the 3310 was water on it and it had blue parts that were oxidated becaus the water. Someone gave me a new PCB, but i dont know if it is a 3310 or a 3330. I think a 3310 but he sais its a 3330. When i put a sim card in the phone with the new PCB it says: SIM kaart niet geaccepteerd. That is dutch for SIM card not accepted. Then i connected the phone to my computer with a cable. With the program "Nokia Tool by Rolis ver 1,8" i pushed a few buttons. and then the phone worked. But i cant get a network, with a dutchtone or telfort sim card (1800 net) i dont get network and with a KPN sim (900 net) i get a couple of seconds a weak signal.

What is antenna switch? Is this in the phone, in the phone menu or a program for computer?

TO blaat:

Have you tried to apdate FAID.

Use bus and nk_calc from dejan (use F1).

If the eeprom is from another phone, you get 4 locks closed, because the FAID is different from phone to phone. It depends on COBBA.

hope this helps

I'll assume that you have 4 locks closed, becuase of bad solderings under COBBA IC due to corrosion. You can't just reset sp locks and have signal. You have to reball or replace your COBBA IC. Apply solvent on the board and brush it to remove all other corrosion.
