Nokia 3310 crashing and rebooting - GSM-Forum

Hi, my Nokia 3310 is constantly hanging @ random and reboots itself.
I bought a data cable (which connects under the battery of the phone and on a serial port on my pc and has a switch m-f, so i can switch between the f-bus or the m-bus ?), but i have no idea what to do next...
I realize that there will be stupid things in my question, but i don't flash phones for a living, i just want my problem fixed

I come from Belgium so my language would have to be dutch or english, after flashing, i just don't want to use arabic or something like that...

few thoughts :

- What is the software (name+version+url) that i need ?
- i have no *** clue if i need ppm, mcu
- i heard that 5.47 is the highest official version ?
- i'm not really sure about the difference between a "full flash" or a "partial flash"
- i have no idea what "unlocking" means, do i need it ?
- i heard somewhere that replacing the mcu would be enough to fix my crash-problem ?
- guidelines would be very nice indeed

What u need is a flasher cable.Rolis flasher 4.77 or anthing like this,nokia tools.All will be done if you do have all thos type of programme
