Nokia 3310 IMEI Fault - GSM-Forum

Hi all, A nokia 3310 was brought in after some !@#$% upgraded it to 3315, the problem lies with the IMEI, it reads ????? ?? ????? 4. Whats gone wrong and how do I fix this. I 've tried to repair the IMEI on a UFS box, it shows that the IMEI has been changed but when checked on the phone the IMEI just shows the ??. Some help if possible please.

use nokia tool an eeprom tools with com cable...

Been there and tried it but the prob is still there. The IMEI just cannot be repaired........Any other help will be appreciated
