Nokia 3310 "NOT CHARGING" - GSM-Forum

My nokia 3310 come up with the warning "not Charging" when ever i connect it to the charger.

I am relativley inexperianced with mobiles so dont know technical stuff. I also dont have any special hardware or cables or anything. Please help me. Is there anything i can do?

Maybe the best thing You could do is to thake the phone to the nearest service...
How to fix it if You don't have any tools?

try a different charger before you do anything drastic

Connect r204 and r202 with a wire, the sides which looking to the chaps chip..small unit under CCONT..

jamestyl , i will advise u to give ur mobile phone to an experience technician near you. Dont attempt to fiddle with it.

You can use Net Monitor, page 20 ,to find out the reason why it does not charge.
Big8 correct me ,if I am wrong ,but connecting r204 to r202 is for "Reconect charger" message.??

I have a problem with 3330, it charges perfect with Ni-MH battery, when I connect a Li-Ion (BLC-2) battery it says "NOT CHARGING".
I've tried many of Li-Ion batteries but no success. Other phone charges them all.
What can be faulty?

just simple as the insaan said try to use another charger. i also has a 3310 and this is better for u to try new charger don't go to repair shops.
