Nokia 3310 says "not charging" even with new charger - GSM-Forum

I recently had my vodafone simcard deactivated for non usage, on my nokia 3310, however I have been unable to charge the phone since this happened, I don't know if it is related. I have recently changed the charger thinking this was the fault, but it still says "not charging" and beeps every few seconds whenever I try to charge it. I am at a loss on what to do next, I have never opened the phone before, and I don't know anything about the circuitry, or what equipment I would use.

there are alot of ways to troubleshoot a not charging fon,u mst do a step by step analysis of the problem.If you already tried changing a new charger then your next step would be the battery,try to change it,if it still persist,check the terminal,if the result is still the same,open the fon and secure a diagram then look for the charging ic and reheat it using a hotair...

just replace the the tntalum circuit the two capacitors it is near keypad bulb

Check Batt terminal if Ok, to check Use another 3310 board, change coil & capacitor near Fuse, iF dont work reheat Charging power IC...
