Member: 32417 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Nokia 3310 USB Data Cable When i try to use programs such as LogoManager or Oxygen PhoneManager II they cannot connect to my phone via USB. I only get options for COM1 COM2 COM3 etc... Do i need drivers of some sort? I didn't get nothing with the cable, just the cable itself. If i do need drivers where can i download them? Please Help Thanks |

Member: 7911 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 7 | Most of the cables that plug into USB ports are just standard serial cables with a USB converter attached. The standard bridge chip is a "Prolific PL-2303" - if you go to http://tech.prolific.com.tw and search for "PL-2303" you should be able to download the drivers for your OS. You might have to find the device (probably under unknown devices in hardware manager) and tell it to reinstall the driver. |

Member: 19979 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 116 | i got this data cable a few days ago but this was marked for 3350 (the connectors are same as 3310) but i didnt try it...i think it will work, there is a CD with this cable which contains drivers for USB.. then it may connect with logomanager... Member: 17080 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | wellcome why there are lockers that lock the batt when you insert. so check it well to hold like 3310 batt in a phone if no pasibble use your hand to hold it tight on it or put something thecnicaly to hold it for to be able to do the work GOOD LUCK |

Just uninstall ur PC suite provided by Nokia and install new PC suite from the DKU-5 drivers CD The Pc suite on DKU-5 driver's CD is advanced. Nokia's Pc suite 5.0.1 doesn't provide USB support whereas new PC suite (5.8 for win98 & 6.4 for win XP ) supports USB feature I hv tested it with my phone -PAK |
