Member: 11416 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 6 | Just repaired one 5110 which wasn't charging - check "fuse" (or better say SMD 0-ohms-resistor) placed next to charger connector on main pcb - with my 5110 this one was ****n leading it not charging. Maybe the 2.2V you see with WinTesla comes from the battery ? |

Member: 7314 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 11 | Did the phone charge OK then stopped? Is your charger OK? Is it the right one? Does the phone give NOT CHARGING or nothing at all? There are chargers on sale in the UK type ACH-6X which give an output of 10volts. I have never been able to charge with these - tried many 51xx, 61xx, 6210. The voltage is too high - needs to be maximum 9.0volts. Best about 7.5volts. |

If the charger produces a "clean DC" (using a screening capacitor), then all of my 31xx/51xx/61xx/71xx/81xx series give a "Not charging" in the display. Maybe this is what the ACH-6X chargers deliveres at the output ? | |

Member: 7314 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 11 | Fully understand, nsm-1. They will charge on a clean DC if the voltage is as I said. Ref: 10v pulsed - your voltmeter would read average or RootMeanSquare (rms) value anyway. |
