nokia 5510 problems - GSM-Forum

i recently got my hands on a 5510 .. everything is perfect except a few little things....

1. my only phone language is german and i wanna change it to english to understand something...
2. i have a usb data cable witch i connect the phone to the computer.. now... windows xp recognises the mobile as nokia 5510 and adds a new removable drive.. witch is probably the phone memory.. ... now .. the software for the cell doesn't see anything ..... i can copy files from the drive.. but after i copyed i cannot play any mp3 files.. . something like... "erst datekabel entfernen"... i have no ideea what it means...

.... now what do step by step to change my language and upload mp3's ???

P.S. don't say 2 change my phone u'r something..........

mp3 works now.. it dindn't work cause the cable was still inside

...
but sometimes it shows an erroe like kopfhorer anschlieben
but still the software dows recognise the phone

P.S.the cable is from a camera but it should work since windows recognises it ? right?

you need special cables to chagne your phone to english , you can't do it with usb cable .....

I have a 5510 which turns on then after some seconds it turns off, i have the usb cable mentioned above. I have read i have to flash it. What cable i need?
Cheapest possible.

And further guide to resolve problem please.
