Nokia 8210 low signal gain - GSM-Forum

Hi, i am quite new here, so please be patient with my (maybe) stupid questions.

To the point, i bought Nokia8210 cell phone from a guy who told me that it is half year old and fine working. Next day the display went off, so i changed the gummy thing under display that didnt helped at all so i changed the whole keybord and dysplay part. Now, very new problem. The telephone has low signal gain, where my 6210 has 3 "strokes" (?) the 8210 has 1 or zero. Is there anything i can do?

change de tx coupler, it is near the PA and Ant Sw (litle white peace whith 8 pads).

clean antena pads on board & check antena. if not solved ur problem change antena switch.

it can be antena switch or pa can you do phonecalls???it is possible that tx coupler isnt working well......

or4 most probalities is cobba problem

1- full the flash org and full unlock

2- check the battry phone and anntena clean good board

3-repalce the pa & switch anntenre - replace the cobba and ccont ic
