Nokia 8210 sometimes full signal then no network? - GSM-Forum

I Have a Nokia 8210 that was bought off the net when i put my 1-2-1 sim card in it took about 10 mins to find a network then it would not let me call out it just went to no bars of sevice . Could this be because it has been flashed wrong? It is v5.16 . If so could i flash it with the same version full flash from anouther phone if so would this cure the problem?. I have checked the conction on the main board and have also changed the aerial but still no joy , any ideas? Cheers Gfunk

hi! have you try to put another sim?? (aside from your existing one?)

Yes I have tryed a orange and a vodaphone sim but still the same problem

it's hardwear problem

replace PA first if not then change 26 MHz crystal
