Hi all, I'm new here. And also new to unlocking cell phones.<br />I'm using Dejan Flasher and I made a big mistake.<br />I thought I succesfully read a full flash out of my phone for a backup (00200000 to 00400000) but there was no information in the flash file. And I didn't now that, because I didn't looked at the file. I tryed to unlock my phone with a partial file, that didn't work, phone asked for a sim-card (that was in my phone <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> ). So I used Dejan to set my own flash file back (the one which was empty) after that my phone went dead. I tryed repairing with a repair flash file, didn't work. Then I read my friends phone and put his flash on my phone. It worked a bit... now it went on and says CONTACT SERVICE.<br />I see words like PPM etc. in this forum which I never saw before... <br />Can someone please tell me how to get my phone alive again?<br />Thanks in advance. <br />(Sorry for the long story)

You have flashed phones eeprom area and by doing so you have destroyed phone.You can check locks on phone if all 4. locks are closed and are showing eeee ffff you can`t repair phone (not at this moment).<br />Sorry for bad news but maybe later on will be some solution for repairing your phone.

But can't I just put a whole flash from 0 to "end" over my original flash?<br />Or bring it to a repair center?

I read my phone with nokia tool, all locks are locked <img src="frown.gif" border="0"> , but why are there repair flashes and full flashes on the internet? aren't these files to 'repair' the phone?<br />I still don't know why my phone is dead.<br />If I overwrite the 'bad' flash with a full flash....<br />any help is welcome, thanks in advance
