Hi All,

anyone have experiencies with repairing this kind of problem on 5110 for example with B-phreaks logger a logs as follows:

How to use Logger v1.7 ...

- To open 4 Locks closed to: FFFFF..EEEE..EEEE..FFFFFFFFFF

For this first make sure that your locks are closed for sure - reset the phone<br />to full factory with WinTesla, NokiaTool or just press Read button in the Logger <br />Check again with NokiaTool the condition of the locks.

You'll need to make sure that IMEI number and IMEI_Programing Data are valid.<br />Insert a working SimCard in the phone, switch it on and tick the TEST DSP <br />check box. Logger will put the DSP in test mode and will start continious <br />reading of one of the ADC's in COBBA - this will show the RSSI Value in the<br />status bar. If everything ok - you will get a reading for about minute and<br />at the end of the test you'll see message : DSP Test OK !

If anything wrong - Message Box will propmpt that you have bad responce from<br />the DSP. This will happen when:

- IMEI or IMEI_program data - corrupted<br /> - AuthorityID not valid<br /> - RF part is faulty ( hardware fault )<br /> - Missing Ariel or no Cell coverage

This Test is not 100% reliable - so make sure that all other reasons are excluded.<br />You need to have a SimCard in the phone !<br />Good idea is to make this test few times - between tryes reset the phone to full<br />factory and switch it off and on again.

If the test is succesfull and you're sure that IMEI is not corrupted -<br />Press Read button in the Logger and save the file. <br />Upload the recalculated file like usual. The condition of Locks will be

Lock 1 Closed to 00101<br />Lock 2 Open to 0000<br />Lock 3 Open to 0000<br />Lock 4 Open to 0000000001

You'll have to unlock the phone in most suitable way and that's it !

Just curiosity - who recalculates the log file which you update into the phone???

If you do everything properly and made a payment, and have the recalculated file from us.... maybe it is going to work.

Hi Daniel,

you are right... I was trying to recalculate LOG with free soft by -tek-. EEPROM is updated successfully but locks are still closed.

If it helps I'm ready to pay for a good LOG!
