Operator-Logo for 5110 - GSM-Forum

What do I need to change the Operator-Logo on a 5110? Dos'it mater which servis provider I use? What else can I do whith a 5110?

Hi MiMiR the WiseMan,

to change Operator-Logo on 5110 you need Operator-Logo-Uploader (Kessler), Cellular Data Suite 2.0 (Nokia) and DAU-9P or self-build cable. Or somebody who has all those and can send it to you as SMS. Service provider doesn't matter. Other things you can do? Not much, just activating Net monitor with PcLocals v1.3. But that's not worth buying or building a cable.

HI !! In Norway we just got a new service. Maybe it not works for other countries, but here ya go: Change the smsc nr. to +4790002100 and send an sms to 1999 were it stands "logo 1" They got 9 logos....1,2,3,4.....

But it may not be working for other countries !!!!!
